How do I start testing with ABR?

You can contact ABR via email (info@ambio.net), telephone (800-370-2968) or fax (509-334-4837). Because testing requirements vary widely, we strongly encourage a phone call to our Study Director, to discuss your testing needs, sample submission requirements and pricing.

How do I get a price list?

ABR does not offer a published price list. However, a price quotation tailored to your specific testing needs will be provided.

How do I get a price quotation?

The best way to contact us is by phone at 800-370-2968. Our Study Director is always happy to guide you through the process of determining the type of testing necessary and submitting your sample for testing. If you prefer, you can email us at info@ambio.net. Please indicate the type of material that needs testing and the testing required. If we are able to perform the testing, a quotation detailing price, turn around time and sample requirements will be sent to your attention.

How do I pay for testing?

Standard terms are Net 30 and all payments must be in USD. ABR accepts payment via check, credit card (Visa, Master Card or American Express) or wire transfer. A credit application will be sent to all new clients. We are happy to accept credit card payments until credit is established. Custom studies require 25% prepayment.

How do I submit samples to ABR?

Samples should be shipped to ABR to the attention of the "Study Director." All samples must have a signed sample submission form indicating the tests requested and a valid import permit.

How do I obtain a valid import permit?

USDA regulations require a valid import permit to ship biological samples. Please contact our Quality Department at 800-370-2968 or quality@ambio.net.

What quantity of my sample should I send?

Minimum sample quantities vary by sample type and by test type. Please call our Study Director at 800-370-2968 for specific guidelines.

Does ABR follow FDA regulations?

ABR, Inc. operates under Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) as defined in the Twenty-first Code of Federal Regulations (21 CFR) Part 58.

I need to obtain a copy of an old report.

ABR can provide copies of archived report(s) when requested by the original client. Give us a call at 800-370-2968 or email us at info@ambio.net. Reports are archived by PDF and are usually available within minutes of receiving a request.

What type of a report is issued after testing is completed?

The final signed report on company letter head will detail client information, client contact person, sample description and identification, accession date, accession number, assay start and completion dates, test(s) performed, results of the test(s), control numbers and a QA statement.

Can I obtain a copy of the test worksheets and methods?

Test worksheets may be reviewed during an onsite audit. For $75 per sample, test worksheets are available with your final report. As with final reports, worksheets specific to each sample are archived by PDF and can usually be provided within minutes of a request.

How are reports issued?

Final reports are sent by PDF to the email of the primary contact listed on the submission form. Reports can also be faxed. Delivery by US Mail or FedEx is available for an additional charge. If you require special delivery, please note this on your submission form.

Who may I speak with to discuss the results on the report?

Please call ABR at 800-370-2968 and reference the accession number or your sample lot number. Each report has a unique accession number clearly marked on the report in bold type. We are always glad to answer any questions you may have about your test results.

How do I schedule an Audit of ABR?

Onsite client audits are welcomed and can be scheduled by contacting our Quality Department at 800-370-2968.
